By keeping THE MIND ALWAYS OPEN and being impartial, one will not have fixed opinions or belief systems that would distort the flow of pure information coming from the outside world. The understanding of the outside world will grow and one’s position in it will be enhanced. One should not just rely on their eyes and ears for information, look beyond with an open HEART AND MIND. Thus one will be as an infant in the “unbalanced world.” We should not use an opposite force to neutralize an extreme. We have to show trust in those who can’t trust themselves. Aggression should not be met with aggression, hate should not be met with hate. In the laws of nature an acid is not neutralized with an acid, it is neutralized with its opposite. Neutralizing extremes is with an OPEN MIND.

Refining the MIND is when we cultivate the INNER MIND, we are refining our responses to the outside world. This is the foundation of lasting influence. We have to discriminate between clever force and insightful strength. Insightful strength will not meet with resistance or cause counter-reaction. SO TRY AND LET US OPEN UP OUR MINDS AND KNOW ONESELF VERY WELL.
