I will soon be married for 45 years to an Australian. It has taken me this long to learn that living in the southern hemisphere as Australians do, that their lives are totally with a different perspective than we have in the northern hemisphere. The earth spins counterclockwise, the bottom is always on the bottom. Just think about it, blood is constantly flooding into their brain. Their vision is complicated because of all that pressure. THEY ARE ALWAYS UPSIDE DOWN. Life has to be always painful and thoughts and perspective are difficult to achieve. Humans are not built to be upside down too long. It has been found that 90% of mammals found in Australia are not found anywhere else in the world. HUMANS ARE MAMMALS, RIGHT? 

After 45 years I now understand why Australians living in the northern hemisphere are incredibly peaceful. Their perspective on life is outstanding. Why? Because they are standing with no excess blood flow into their heads. I now have so much empathy for Australians living like that back home, in the southern hemisphere. It truly has to be very uncomfortable to live upside down always.

I’m so very blessed to be married to an Australian, no matter what, their grasp on life is always calm living in the northern hemisphere. Wow!
