One of the most wonderous opportunities is absolute love. What greater way to be in sync with another? Meditation helps us to be better listeners, have patience, have empathy and have forgiveness. To open our hearts to others, we first have to be friends with ourselves and develop a more accepting attitude. The Buddhist way is to develop a self-love and self-acceptance. Then it will be easier to do it with others.
This kind of attitude transformation can help us turn our difficulties into stepping stones on the path of growth and development. We all get wounds from time to time, they can help us be more sensitive to the plight of others. Buddha once said that; “no one can make us angry if we do not have the seeds of anger within our hearts.” Michelangelo once said; “genius is infinite patience.” Patience is truly the virtue to develop for making peace with time and change.
Timeless wisdom tells us that it is not what happens to us but how we respond that determines our character and our destiny. Having empathy, patience, forgiveness, generosity, self-discipline, will help lead us through life’s peaks and valleys. REMEMBER IT IS HOW WE RESPOND TO THE PEAKS AND VALLEYS.
TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. BEAR THE LOVE. THANK YOU.
