LEARN FROM CHILDREN…T. Levitt, Winnegrad

Children connect well to the humanity of others. Many adults think too much of themselves and are competitive with others. When others succeed in school or in business there is a jealousy or anger within some of the others, for not succeeding as well. This can smother the decent human qualities.

A good show of human qualities is displayed from a journalist that lived with an African tribe. He assembled a group of children from the tribe and suggested a game. The children were told to line up and at his signal they were to run to a tree where he hung a basket of candy for the winner to the race. The children lined up awaiting for the signal. The journalist shouted go, the children instead of running off in a competitive fury, the children held hands and ran slowly together. When they arrived at the tree, they attained the basket and shared the candy. The journalist asked the children why they did that. They replied; “how can one of us be happy if the others are sad?” This is their concept of humanity. It is the welfare of a group over one for a individual. In their belief no one is left behind. “I AM WHAT I AM BECAUSE WE ALL ARE.”

Peace can be created by everyone trying for others.

TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY, HAVE FAITH, BEAR LOVE. THANK YOU.
