Letting go of each breath is as an act of letting go of pride, ego and self-image. In our culture many see HUMBLENESS as a weakness, but in fact it’s a sign of strength. So why is it so hard to practice HUMBLENESS? The problem is that we invest so much in our distorted image. We see ourselves, our job titles, our awards won, our possessions acquired over the years as a self-image. We form an attachment to this self-image and fear any change. Here is where mindfulness aids us in being flexible. There is a saying; “you gather more flowers with an open hand than with a clenched fist.” This is ego (closes us) versus HUMBLENESS (opens us). Having HUMBLENESS opens us up to ourselves, to our true self-awareness. Now the real self-acceptance is present. HUMBLENESS allows us to see the HEART and the PURPOSE of the SELF.
It is a hard habit to break, self-judgment. HUMBLENESS is; gentle, unassuming, patient. When compassion or HUMBLENESS is non-existent, despair will be inevitable. Be free of self-judgement and be open-minded and receptive to possessing the property of HUMBLENESS.
TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. THANK YOU.
