Everybody, children and adults always have “A MOUNTAIN” in front of them. This is what is called the constant challenges of life. We are sometimes overwhelmed by things that need fixing or adjusting. Whatever, do not fall into inaction. Each small step forward matters, that one step is progress. Lao Tsu said “A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step.”

At the bottom to the middle of the MOUNTAIN is knowledge. Lots of knowledge. That which is known, learning, data, education, experience. That is why the base of the MOUNTAIN is so broad. At the top of the MOUNTAIN, which is very narrow exists WISDOM. Here we possess; clear thinking, good judgment, scholarly, USEFUL knowledge.

At the top of the MOUNTAIN the mind is clearer with just useful Wisdom. Here, as in the Taoist philosophy, we complete the circle and return as a carefree child with WISDOM. A child loving the freedom of not being weighed down with much knowledge and enjoying the importance of WISDOM. How wonderful to be such a child. ONE STEP FORWARD AT A TIME.

Do not worry about making mistakes on the climb up the MOUNTAIN. Each mistake is a step with knowledge. As the top of the MOUNTAIN approaches, much of that knowledge is let go and the WISDOM is left. ENJOY EACH STEP UP.
