When we base ourselves in the present moment, we immediately connect better with others. We become more responsive by listening more deeply and speaking with more clarity. Living in the present moment, we TRANSFORM OURSELVES, we TRANSFORM all our relationships and bring the wholeness of who we are to everything we do.
Having COMPASSION for others can strengthen our understanding and patience for others. As Plato said; “ BE KIND, FOR EVERYONE YOU MEET IS FIGHTING A HARD BATTLE.” To illustrate this COMPASSION, understanding and patience here is a story that happened to me many years ago. In college I played lacrosse at Syracuse University. We were playing Yale. I played defense, Yale shot at the goal. The ball hit me in the stomach and I had the wind knocked out of me. I was on one knee, trying to catch my breath. I noticed that the Yale player that I was defending was just standing by me and the ball was in play with his teammates. I said, “what are you doing, your guys have the ball?” He was an “all-American” star. He said; “I’m waiting for you to catch your breath. There’s no challenge for me if you’re not defending me. Are you ok? Take your time.” Here was a player that could have easily scored a goal off of me. He obviously showed his COMPASSION, understanding and patience for others. That was a true lesson for me. TRANSFORM YOURSELF, CONNECT BETTER WITH OTHERS. TRY IT.
TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. THANK YOU.

Greatly appreciate this lesson: Living in the present moment, we TRANSFORM OURSELVES, we TRANSFORM all our relationships and bring the wholeness of who we are to everything we do.”
