The HEART and BRAIN are intimately connected, forming a TWO-WAY STREET where emotional states are significantly impacted by HEART health and vice versa. Negative emotions like anger, pessimism and unhappiness affect the HEART badly. Whereas, happiness, optimism, gratitude and a sense of purpose are linked to a healthy HEART. The HEART and BRAIN communicate to each other through nerves. The HEART sends more signals to the BRAIN affecting how we feel, think and perceive. Using the BRAIN , with mindfulness or meditation improves one’s health.
The right atrium receives oxygen-poor blood, then pumps the blood to the right ventricle. Which then pumps the blood to the lungs to receive oxygen. The left atrium receives the oxygen filled blood, which then pumps the blood to the left ventricle and it pumps the blood to the whole body. The HEART pumps an average of 2,000 gallons of blood a day. We have an average of 100,000 miles of vessels. The cornea of the eye receives no blood, it receives oxygen from the liquid in the eye.
This shows how important it is to ALWAYS, ALWAYS have a healthy MIND, by eliminating all negative thoughts through the process of mindfulness meditation. Also ALWAYS, ALWAYS carry in the HEART a feeling of happiness, a sense of purpose and love so to guarantee A TWO WAY STREET for a healthy HEART, MIND.
TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. THANK YOU.
