When I was training a student several years ago, he was having a problem to FIND A RESOLUTION to his particular situation. He told me his mind was cluttered up, he could not think clearly. The office was in New York City. I brought him to the window and showed him a lone TREE down the street. I told him to go to the TREE and greet it as you would a HUMAN. I told him to hug the TREE and then sit down next to the TREE on the curb and talk to the TREE. I told him not to discuss the problem, just talk about life for a good 15 minutes. Then come back. He did as such, came back and RESOLVED his problem.
While I worked and taught students in Paris, I did the same. There was a small park across the road with many trees. There were times the students walked through the park. Hugging and talking to several trees along the way. The majority of the times THE RESOLUTION WAS FOUND and the problem was solved.
From recent research in neurobiology/psychology, we now know that forgetting is not just normal but beneficial for our cognitive and creative abilities. They found by sleeping, people forget senseless material and the essential material is retained. “We dream to forget,” said Francis Crick. This is called SMART FORGETTING. FORGETTING frees our minds from memories that weigh our minds down. So, HUGGING AND TALKING TO A TREE FOR 15 MINUTES FREES OUR MINDS TO FIND A RESOLUTION.
TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. THANK YOU.

Well I know what I’m doing in the middle of the night when I’m up for hours thinking about things without resolution! You’ll find me out in my pajamas hugging and talking to a tree! This is fantastic!
