RECOGNIZE THE ENEMY WITHIN…Winnegrad

Let me start off with some quotes that were made in the year 1985 by a HIGHLY INTELLEGENT MAN OF WISDOM.

“We cannot trade the welfare of our future generations for profit now.”

“I can say that the greatest strength is gentleness.”

“ In order to do this we must recognize the enemy—the one within us. We must begin with ourselves.”

“The Creator will guide our thoughts and strengthen us as we work to be faithful to our sacred trust and restore harmony among all peoples, all living creatures. We were instructed to carry a love for one another and to show a great respect for all beings of this earth.”

“We must stand together the four basic colors of man, as the one family that we are, in the interest of peace.”

I had the fortune to know this man for many years before his sad passing. He was  LEON SHENANDOAH THE CHIEF OF THE HAUDENOSAUNEE.

The first time he spoke to me was after a meeting in the Longhouse that I was permitted to go to. After the meeting we all went to the house next to the Longhouse to have coffee. As I was drinking my sugarless, black coffee the Chief came over to me and he said; “maybe if you put sugar and cream in your coffee your curly hair will straighten out.” That was my first conversation with Chief Shenandoah.

Over the many years I learned an incredible amount of knowledge. Above is a sample.

TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. THANK YOU.
