Why are there no butterflies that when they flap their yellow wings you can hear music?  YES, THERE ARE if you believe. Why are there no dogs that when they bark you see a variety of colors? YES, THERE ARE if you believe. Why are there no fragrances when they are smelled you see a vision, a place? YES, THERE ARE if you believe.

Authors and writer’s years ago, to this day, employ a device called “colored hearing” or poetic synesthesia to implement such an emotion. We say an article of clothing is “cool” where the article is visual and cool is the sense of touch. Dante talked of the “silent sun.” There are expressions like “loud colors,” “frozen silence,” and “warm colors.”  Doing so you can intensify an experience. What a wonderful experience if you allow it. How beautiful your relationship with others and also with yourself.

Less than 5% of the people have this ability neurologically. It is called Synesthesia. You can call upon this phenomenon by trying to relate sounds, colors, smells, visions to one another. It is called pseudo-synesthesia or poetic synesthesia. Try it, it could make your day brighter, or more yellow, or bright blue or mint green. It is better than having a day that would be full of amber colors or browns.

YES, THERE ARE sounds with colors, YES, THERE ARE smells with colors, YES, THERE ARE smells with shapes, YES, THERE ARE emotions with colors. Just believe, let yourself have a sensory fusion. YES, THERE ARE these powers within you; believe and watch your life and other’s become richer.
