TWO CROSSROADS…E. Luna, Winnegrad

We show up at TWO CROSSROADS over and over multiple times a day, every day of the week. We do get to choose which PATH to take. The PATH of SHOULD which is how other people want us to live our lives. It is the PATH of the hopes that others create for us. Sometimes the SHOULDS are small, seemingly harmless and very easy to oblige. Such as “you SHOULD see that movie.” At other times SHOULDS are highly influential systems of consideration, which can force us to live our lives differently, and therefore have us feel unfulfilled.

When we choose the CROSSROAD of SHOULD, we are making a choice to live our life for someone other than ourselves. That CROSSROAD to SHOULD can be smooth, the rewards can appear to be clear.

When we choose the CROSSROAD of MUST it is different. MUST IS WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE BELIEVE AND WHAT WE DO WHEN WE ACTUALLY LISTEN TO OUR HEART. It comes from our DEEPEST passions, and desires. THEY ARE UNAVOIDABLE, UNDENIABLE, and sometimes INEXPLICABLE. With MUST there is no yielding, it is an INFLUENCE from the HEART.

When we choose the CROSSROAD of MUST we stop conforming to other people’s ideals and start to connect to our own. We then can refine our full potential as an individual. To choose the CROSSROAD OF MUST is to say yes to hard work and constant effort, without any guarantees. This is the experience of being alive, we will actually feel the pleasure of life.

ENJOY YOUR LIFE, ENJOY THE PERSON YOU ARE, BRING JOY TO OTHERS, CHOOSE THE CROSSROAD OF MUST.
