THE ULTIMATE SOURCE OF JOY IS WITHIN US ALL. It is not power, not money and not status, they all produce the temporary feeling of PLEASURE. We undermine our JOY by chasing the materialistic life of external stimuli. We are hardwired to be COMPASSIONATE, yet some of us tend to be blind to our connection to others. We cultivate JOY where we put our attention. On ourselves or on others, it is our choice.
JOY is not the same as PLEASURE. PLEASURE soon fades and demands to be repeated to be sustainable. JOY continually renews itself by giving freely, it does not depend on the approval of others. The basic attributes that one possesses deep down in their HEART/SOUL; HUMILITY, HUMOR, ACCEPTANCE, GRATITUDE, COMPASSION, GENEROSITY and FORGIVENESS are what the Creator gave us to enjoy the feeling of constant JOY.
As already said THE ULTIMATE SOURCE OF JOY IS WITHIN US ALL. A good person is a person through other persons. We cannot survive without other HUMAN BEINGS. When one is too focused on themselves they become disconnected from others. EVERY MOMENT IS A GIFT. BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERY MOMENT.
Embrace yourself and give out your HEART/SOUL to all. Then you can reap the constant benefits of JOY. A good way to journey through life is with JOY. Have a positive state of mind. Share your HEART/SOUL with all. The DECENCY and HONESTY will make for a better life on this earth.
TAKE JOY IN WHAT YOU GIVE TO OTHERS. JOY WILL CONSTANTLY BE WITH YOU. A LIFE OF JOY IS YOUR GOAL.
PLEASE TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, ALWAYS STAY HEALTHY.

Covid impact on young and old, not enough for those in need, and too much for the fortunate where there will never be enough.
Here we have words and guidance on how to be fulfilled, rewarded, and “joyous “ about life.
As we are all faced with many challenges; I encourage you all to listen and truly hear the great wisdom provided by my dear friend Ron Winnegrad.

I often refer to moments of joy as little slices of joy. They are everywhere, we just have to keep our hearts and minds open to them and sometimes that is hard to do. We get caught up in all the negativity surrounding us. This is a good reminder from a very wise man. Thank you Ron – I will keep looking for my little slices of joy! 💜

I sit here and reflect on all of the joy that we have shared together…sitting in a stream, camping in the park, climbing trees, peeling poster board from the streets of Paris with Slug, hanging on the cliffs overlooking the Hudson, museums, museums, museums….Musee de Rodin, freezing watching SU lacrosse games at Coyne field and running to Bronco to blast the heat, the Rez, finger gesture (jump in the lake…), Ode to Joy ~ Namaste
