There is a famous story of a beautiful temple that everyone visits to take pictures of a marble statue. When everyone left, the tile asked the statue “we come from the same quarry, we are cut from the same sculptor. Why are you a statue and I am a tile?” “Don’t you remember’” said the statue, “you asked the sculptor to stop, you couldn’t stand the pain. I endured hundreds of cuts for hundreds of hours. That is why I am a statue. LIFE is our sculptor and sometimes the tools that are used to shape us are not always pleasant. EVERY SETBACK, EVERY BROKEN HEART, EVERY STRAIN OR STRESS; these are the tools we must endure. Tiles and statues are equally important. But sometimes life wants to mold you into something outstanding. So if you are blessed with tests, life will dissect, cut and hammer away at you. SO ENDURE, EMBRACE AND BE AT PEACE KNOWING THAT LIFE IS TURNING YOU INTO A MASTERPIECE.”
