The Haudenosaunee (the Iroquois Nation) teach you in their philosophy that TRUTH is repeated again and again so that eventually what is said leaves the head and goes TO THE HEART. So it is not too late to learn from Ben Franklin’s action and learn as he did from the Haudenosaunee on how to be CIVIL to others. Especially at this time every American, politician and citizen should do as Chief Canassadega said to some politicians, in 1744; “NEVER DISAGREE BUT PRESERVE A STRICT FRIENDSHIP FOR ONE ANOTHER AND THEREBY YOU WILL BECOME STRONGER. WHATEVER BEFALLS YOU. YOU WILL NEVER FALL OUT WITH ONE ANOTHER.”

Franklin was not too proud to learn how to be a decent human. He took the lessons he learned from the Haudenosaunee and helped develop the Constitution in the 1770’s. The American Constitution and the Haudenosaunee philosophy have many similarities in relating to the basic principles of HUMANITY and getting along with others, politically. IT IS TIME NOW FOR MANY PEOPLE TO BEHAVE AS FRANKLIN AND SHOW A VULNERBILITY AND LEARN FROM THE VALUES OF THE HAUDENOSAUNEE. This UNITY THROUGH CONSENSUS, are their values for over 1000 years.

The elders teach others and especially the young, BEING A GOOD HUMAN IS AN ATTITUDE, A STATE OF MIND, A WAY OF BEING IN HARMONY WITH ALL LIVING THINGS ON THIS EARTH. They emphasize that when another speaks, ALWAYS LISTEN WITH YOUR HEART. Through that they learn THAT THE GREATEST STRENGTH IS VULNERABILITY AND TO ALWAYS GIVE.

BE AS BEN FRANKLIN AND LEARN FROM AN EXCEPTIONAL GROUP OF PEOPLE. THE HAUDENOSAUNEE. LET’S GO TO THAT WONDERFUL PHILOSOPHY AGAIN AND HELP MAKE THE WORLD BETTER.
