DEFENSE IS BETTER…Winnegrad

Many years ago when I was about 15 years old my father was a boxing manager and taught me to box at an early age. We had many boxers staying at our house from time to time. One day when my father came home from work he was told that I was in a fight with one guy on our street. My father asked me to come down to the basement and he put boxing gloves on me and himself. He then started to hit me, after less than a minute I was lying on the floor. As he was walking up the stairs he said, “HERE IS A LESSON FOR YOU, DO NOT BE AGGRESSIVE AND SHOW OFF YOUR SKILLS TO PEOPLE WHO DON’T HAVE THE SAME SKILLS.”

That is why I was very comfortable to play DEFENSE on the lacrosse team. As I got older after college I was concerned about using my boxing skills that I learned from my father since I was 6 years old. I heard of Karate which is known as a self-defense So I learned that and after several years went to a brown belt. To honor my fathers lesson I kept as a self-defense.

With those lessons ingrained into me, I used that philosophy when I was creating new fragrances. Just about every fragrance I developed had an ingredient in them that promoted a feeling of calming and comforting. It is Linalool which is found naturally in Lavender. Linalool has been found to affect the limbic system and affect the emotions with a calming and soothing result.

ALWAYS BE ON THE DEFENSE, THIS WAY YOU ARE CALMING TO OTHERS AND NOT AGGRESSIVE.

TAKE CARE, ALWAYS STAY WELL, ALWAYS STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. THANK YOU.
