YOUR MIND’S EYE…T. Levitt, Winnegrad

                            

Picture a snow capped mountain, like the Tetons, in your MIND’S EYE. See the soaring snow covered peaks, visualize the jagged slopes and the beautiful green colored trees at the base of the mountains. Notice how large and still the mountain is. Now hold the image of this mountain in your MIND’S EYE.

Now bring the mountain into your body. Your head becomes the snow-capped peaks. Your shoulders, arms, body the slopes and the lower body the base of the mountain. The feet are the roots of the beautiful snow-capped mountain. 

Keep this image of the majestic mountain in your MIND’S EYE being the whole body. Hold it totally and breath deeply. Take notice on how you feel as you hold the image in the MIND’S EYE. Mountains are stable and resilient as we should be. Days and seasons change, the mountains are unphased by these changes. THIS QUALITY CAN HELP US—change will occur in life, this is a certainty. Our lives will have changes periodically. They can be an opportunity or a crises. Here is where we should be as the image in our MIND’S EYE. The mountains are unphased with the changes of seasons. THE IMAGE OF THE MOUNTAIN WITHIN US WILL KEEP US RESILIENT. Stay focused with the mountain within us. Calmness will always be with us, as with the mountain
