WHAT HAPPENED TO WE…Winnegrad

The word WE has the meaning of; you and I, he and I,  she and I, they and I and us. I really hear people saying the word WE less and less. WE hear more and more people saying “I did,” “I went,” “I, I, I.” The friendships if there are, seem to be on the phone or on e-mails. It is a shame to see the solitude evolving in our society.

I know someone that their first words as a child was “ME TOO.” He was often left behind by the parents and older brother. Teaching youngsters a togetherness will produce a future generation of WE. I-pads, cell-phones for youngsters isn’t good. That will eliminate WE when they get older. Parents and older siblings should be involved with the young ones so they are not alone seeking company from an i-pad. WE should not let the young ones go around communicating on a machine, while their parents or brothers/sisters are talking to each other, either in a restaurant or at home. Eventually they may have to look up the definition of WE in the dictionary. No one wants to be alone, WE is such a comforting word.

TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. BEAR LOVE. THANK YOU.
