The difference between articulating a fragrance well and extraordinarily is the difficulty in isolating the magic.
An EXPLAINER is one that makes information clear and dispels doubts. A good textbook is the work of good explainers.
An ELUCIDATOR is one that goes beyond explanation, they transmute information into understanding by revealing and integrating various bits of knowledge into a larger framework of understanding. They throw light upon the subject.
An ENCHANTER is one that does all of the above and goes beyond the realm of knowledge and into the realm of emotion, and intuition; a keen observer. An ENCHANTER captivates as does a “magician or wizard.” They impact a magic quality.
You can BE AN ENCHANTER OF SMELL by EXPRESSING THE INEXPRESSIBLE. Smell goes directly to the limbic system; where memories, emotions, and your other four senses go. There is no ability for the limbic system to understand words. Words go to the cortex part of the brain. That is why it is difficult for one to express in words a strong love or a strong hate for another. The words that one expresses can not satisfy the emotion that is felt.
If you relate the fragrance that you are smelling to an emotion or visual concept you will have more people also relating to the same vision that you have. Here is where you can be an ENCHANTER, a person that captivates others as does a “magician.” An ENCHANTER furnishes something richer and greater than the sum total of knowledge. Susanne Langer said; “any exact concept of feeling and emotion cannot be projected into the logical form of literal language. Communication is almost useless for conveying emotions. Intuition is the understanding of feeling.”
Be a trailblazing storyteller, BE AN ENCHANTER OF SMELL.
