An “I” is a person with an ego which is self-love, self-worship, self-centeredness, self-absorbed, self-obsessed, self-important. There is obviously no room for “WE” when there is an “I” within someone. It is much easier to travel to the heights of SUCCESS with another, as an “I” it is more difficult and less satisfying.
The IDEAL HUMAN, one that is tolerant, empathetic, public-spirited, compassionate always is a RECIPIENT because of their HUMILITY and GRATEFULNESS. One cannot accomplish this as an “I” only as a “WE.”
There are many reasons one pursues the “I” personality, we will mention just a few; GREED, GREED and GREED. The thin thread of EMOTIONAL GREED has us living a life of SELF-DELUSION that only keeps us alone. It is difficult to see someone stake their SOUL upon some end that is hopeless which is obvious to everyone but the “I” person.
We all strive for SUCCESS and there is no “I” in SUCCESS but there is a “U” which stands for US. All knowledge one obtains, whether from school or reading, is a “WE” effect. The OPENNESS TO LIFE IS LIVING AS A “WE.” Albert Einstein said; “Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.” Being of value is a “WE” person.
A person that CREATES a new concept is taking different unrelated ideas and putting them together forming that new concept, says Steve Jobs. It is still a “WE” process. We should give credit to where our knowledge came from. “WE” is just a beautiful sounding word.
“It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit,” said Harry Truman. JUST SAY “WE” INSTEAD OF “I” WHEN SOMETHING IS ACCOMPLISHED. ONE CAN RISE TO THE TOP QUICKER WHEN TRAVELING WITH OTHERS THAN WHEN TRAVELING ALONE.

In our house there is a saying we’ve repeated often. There is no “I” in “Team”. Because, the sooner we realize and embrace the fact that all our connections in this Life are closely entwined to others, the happier we will be: in work, at home, in all our relationships. Thanks for the reminder, Ron.

Stay positive and just say YES, or rather OUI/We ~ a tongue in cheek observation, yet as you say, it’s nice to SAY…COLLABORATION is a beautiful energy…when WE can generate the most POWER to CREATE that of our COMMON INTENTION.

Once again a lesson for those entering life’s challenges, and quite appropriate for those of us who have traveled many miles down life’s path. I often wonder how parents are so focused on teaching their children great lessons of life, only to practice ones they would be appalled seeing their children display
