“It is not just words, but it is the LIVING PRESENCE of those words.” Susan Sontag said; “words are our arrows that are stuck in the rough hide of REALITY, and we are the bow.” We all must live by our actions, those arrows, they are THE MEASURE OF YOUR LIFE. We must live by our actions our deeds. Words are only words until they are performed or accomplished.

We tend to seek out like-minded individuals, our own “tribe,” pursuing a process that has been accepted for years. We can only grow when we are challenged by another’s ideas and are willing to nimbly change direction. Only then can a MEASURE OF ONE’S LIFE be obvious. Rather than sticking with a “tribal” proven COGNITIVE BIAS, we have to IMPROVE upon what has always been done.

“FACTS THAT WE ACQUIRE WILL NEVER REPLACE EDUCATION,” said Sontag. Not working with others one becomes an INDIVIDUAL. INDIVIDUALITY, itself is more of a synonym for SELFISHNESS. There is no value in the cultivation of the SELF. There has to be a regard for OTHERS to have A MEASURE OF YOUR LIFE.

Saying things, following the well worn path of your “TRIBAL” friends will not eventually show THE MEASURE OF YOUR LIFE. Time passes by quickly, you may feel you’re in the JUNE of your life, but in reality you may be in the SEPTEMBER of your life. NOW is the time to make a difference. Work with others to improve “THE PROCESS.”

WORDS ALONE WILL NEVER BE A MEASURE OF YOUR LIFE, THE ACCURATELY DEPARTED ARROW WILL ALWAYS BE THE MEASURE OF YOUR LIFE.
