KNOWLEDGE TO WISDOM…Winnegrad

“These day’s people seek KNOWLEDGE, not WISDOM. KNOWLEDGE IS OF THE PAST; WISDOM IS OF THE FUTURE.” Said V. Cooper a Native American from the Lumbee people of North Carolina. Some people that seek wealth, power and domination follow the path of KNOWLEDGE. Those that pursue WISDOM go beyond the fundamental nature of KNOWLEDGE, by reexamining the ways of thought and uncover, through KNOWLEDGE, the key to WISDOM’S secret process.

Rodin, Monet, Cezanne, Picasso, Alvin Ailey, Twyla Tharp, the first person to use synthetics in fragrances and flavors, Steve Jobs; they all took their KNOWLEDGE and questioned the way of doing things, pushed boundaries and changed the system, thus becoming LOVERS OF WISDOM. They used their basic KNOWLEDGE and went to a different level, the level of WISDOM.

You too can be a LOVER OF WISDOM by contributing; in your profession, at work, at home – by QUESTIONING THE STATUS QUO. Is there a better way? Will it enhance all peoples’ way of life? Will all benefit? WISDOM is in your HEART, SOUL, LIMBIC SYSTEM not in your neo-cortex. OPENING YOUR ARMS AND RISKING VULNERABILITY IS ABSOLUTE WISDOM.

ONE THAT POSSESSES WISDOM DOES NOT HAVE A LOFTY SENSE OF THEMSELVES. Their sense of self is fused with a moral ideal. They are certain that the action will benefit all. A person of WISDOM does not weigh the costs and benefits for themselves, their view is for the whole.

DISRUPT THE STATUS QUO, THINK OF THE PROSPERITY OF OTHERS AND IN THE PROCESS YOU WILL DISPLAY YOUR WISDOM.

  1. A most important message at a time where so many of us question the “status quo” , or should question it.
Giving of yourself, will usually provide a far greater return, than seeking selfish rewards.
Again a big thank you to Ron Winnegrad

  3. Just as water finds the void, so do I. Going not, towards the way of the masses, but where they have not looked.
Finding the void, is where I wish to go. Adventuresome, exploring. Finding peace in that space…yes. Feels like wisdom. Could be wrong, but at least I went so, authentically.
