NOW IS NOT TOO LATE to learn as Ben Franklin did and go to the Haudenosaunee (Native Americans of the Five Nations) and ask them to explain their process of the Grand Council of Chiefs. Their theory of rule is based on peace and consensus. Franklin presented these policies to the founders of the United States in 1754. From that Haudenosaunee belief the balance of power between the President, House of Representatives and Senate was established. ALL the current American politicians and EVERY AMERICAN today should learn from the Haudenosaunee. NOW IS NOT TOO LATE.
In 1744 Onondaga Chief, Canassadega gave a speech to politicians and said; “NEVER DISAGREE, BUT PRESERVE A STRICT FRIENDSHIP FOR ONE ANOTHER AND THEREBY YOU WILL BECOME STRONGER. WHATEVER BEFALLS YOU, YOU WILL NEVER FALL OUT WITH ONE ANOTHER. Canassadega used a metaphor, in that speech, that inspired the great seal of the United States. He said; “many arrows BOUND TOGETHER cannot be broken as easily as one.” ALL OF OUR POLITICIANS AND EVERY AMERICAN should learn from the Haudenosaunee. NOW IS NOT TOO LATE.
Franklin was not too proud to learn how to be a decent Human. The Haudenosaunee believe DECISIONS MADE TODAY SHOULD LEAD TO SUSTAINABILITY FOR SEVEN GENERATIONS INTO THE FUTURE. Our leaders of the past saw the value of the Haudenosaunee principles. It is time for our leaders and citizens of today visit the Haudenosaunee and learn the basic principles of HUMANITY and the original insight that inspired our Constitution. NOW IS NOT TOO LATE.
In their council meetings they think COLLECTIVELY and take a consensus in decision making, considering all points of view. Everyone is equal, there is no ego. Their philosophy encompasses; BE GENEROUS, BE GRATEFUL, HONOR OTHERS, TO SHARE, BE HONEST, BE RESPECTFUL AND TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH OTHERS AND NATURE. See the value as did Franklin and his colleagues and learn these wonderful principles of the Haudenosaunee. NOW IS NOT TOO LATE.

A Perfume Whisperer 
Perhaps this is my cynical day, but as long as I can remember, we, people of the United States, have repaid the goodness and vast wisdom of native people, with disrespect, abandonment and disgrace.
One can only hope that 2021 will provide a new roadmap to the future where respect for the land we live on, the people we live with, will take on a new and charitable stance. We must also appreciate that the actions of today, have a tremendous affect on the future generations who will inhabit this earth.
I will sign up for hope and pray the future will be better for the many generations to come.
