STEP BY STEP…T. Levitt, Winnegrad

There is an art and joy to slowing down and going STEP BY STEP. As you know, life feels as if it is moving quickly and one feels like they are always running out of time. Then one feels obligated to multi-tasking, which is known to be not at all efficient. We get caught up in the emergency to get things done and absolutely lose the beauty of being in the moment.

We should always be constant with a perseverance for each STEP of the way, other than focusing on an end result. This way we are present at the moment each STEP of the way. Go STEP BY STEP. The Japanese have an expression for STEP BY STEP it is KOTSU, KOTSU.

There’s also a Zen saying; “chop wood, carry water. When we are chopping wood we just chop wood. When we are carrying water, we just carry water. We are fully present with each action, each task,  we enjoy each task, each moment.” Take a breath, slow down, take pleasure in each task. KOTSU, KOTSU.

Happiness isn’t the trophy, it is the journey, enjoy your journey you will enjoy your life.

KOTSU, KOTSU.

TAKE CARE, STAY WELL, STAY HEALTHY. HAVE FAITH. THANK YOU.
