THE LESSON IS LEARNED GRADUALLY…D. Brooks, Winnegrad

We are defined by what we DESIRE, not what we know. We therefore must always DESIRE, DREAM and PUSH UPWARD as does the bamboo shoot. Our EMOTIONS put a value onto what we DESIRE. We should DESIRE and lose ourselves into something; a mission, a cause, a person. THE LESSON OF DESIRE IS LEARNED GRADUALLY.

Because you have a SOUL you are morally responsible for what you do or don’t do. You are judged for the actions you take and the thoughts you act upon. The HEART yearns for fusion with another and the SOUL yearns for righteousness. THE LESSON OF THE SOUL IS LEARNED GRADUALLY.

GRADUALLY YOU LEARN you are not just a brain and a set of talents to impress the world, but A HEART AND SOUL. When the ego is diminished the old DESIRES disappear and new better DESIRES are formed.

THE LESSON THAT IS LEARNED GRADUALLY is that the things that we had thought were important; ACHIEVMENT, AFFIRMATION, INTELLIGENCE—are actually less important, and the things that we undervalued; HEART AND SOUL—are actually most important

FULFILLMENT AND JOY ARE ONLY EXPERIENCED ONCE THE HEART AND SOUL IS CLEARLY ENGAGED. THE LESSON IS NOT ACQUISITION BUT IS CONTRIBUTION. WE MUST LEARN TO TRANSFORM SO WE CAN EXPERIENCE THE BETTER WAY.

We must gather our energies to assist others to become better. NEVER SEEK INDEPENDENCE, SEEK INTERDEPENDENCE. GO INTO A WEB OF WARM RELATIONSHIPS. THE LESSON FOR A MORE MEANINGFUL LIFE IS LEARNED GRADUALLY. THE HEART AND SOUL ARE THERE, LET THEM EXTEND TO ALL.

NEVER SEEK INDEPENDENCE, SEEK INTERDEPENDENCE. THE LESSON LEARNED HERE IS NOT ACQUISITION BUT IS CONTRIBUTION.
